Successful Launch!

Today we successfully launched the balloon at 10:00 AM at Blue Heron State Park near Moses Lake.  We had to change the launch site since the winds were going to carry the balloon westerly towards the Cascades instead of easterly.  The balloon disappeared into the sky and two and a half hours later, we picked up the GPS signals when it returned from space.  We retrieved the capsule in a farmer's field and the cameras were still running!  We will post the pictures tomorrow once we get them sorted out.  We got great pictures of the launch, near space, and the landing.  A great day.
